Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party Guide

Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party Guide

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is Disney World’s version of a Halloween party. Disneyland’s version is Oogie Boogie Bash, which can be confusing when there are other named events in the same party. The party nights take place on select nights between August and October 31st. The 2024 event nights are happening from 7:00 PM to Midnight, while you can get into the park at 4:00 PM.

buying tickets

The cost of the event tickets goes up the closer you get to Halloween, and they do cost more on the weekends compared to weekdays. The cost range is $119 to $200 a ticket. This does get you in for a full 8 hours if you arrive at the park for 4:00 PM. Your ticket price includes your entry to the park and the Halloween party (trick or treating and cool shows).

Tickets are available months in advance of the party, and select days will sell out well in advance. Tickets are available to Disney resort guests on May 8th, 2024 and everyone else on May 15th, 2024. The system was similar last year.

Things to do

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

The Sanderson Sisters take the main stage in front of Cinderella’s Castle. The rest of the villains eventually make their appearance throughout the show. This year they are adding more showtimes, and the later shows tend to have less crowds.

Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular

This is the Halloween version of Magic Kingdom’s farewell fireworks display. The show happens at 10:00 PM on party nights. Jack Skellington host’s the show with guest appearances by some Disney Villains. Grab a seat on Main Street because you won’t want to miss the light show on the Castle. You won’t be able to see the light show from the bridges off to the side (you could still see the fireworks).

Mickey’s Boo to You Parade

There are two show times for the Boo to You parade per party night. See all of your regular Disney characters as well as the villains on their own floats. The parade route is the same as the day time parade route, starting in Frontierland, going towards the hub and Main Street. If you watch from Frontierland you can also catch the Dapper Dans performing.

Trick or Treating

Trick or Treating kicks off after the day time park guests leave, and the official event begins. You can grab your event wristband and trick or treating bag before the event starts (see the location on the map) or as you enter the park if you wait for the event hours to enter the park. Ask for an allergy friendly bag at this stop if you need one. There are trick or treating stations throughout the park and you will leave with an overflowing bag of candy (if you even choose to stop there).

throughout the party

All throughout the event you can find Halloween merch, specialty food and snacks, Villains and extra character meet and greets, and special photo spots. Seeing Magic Kingdom light up and night in spooky colors with Mickey pumpkins everywhere is a special occasion you can’t miss.
