Our Camper

In the height of COVID-19 we made our first really big purchase! Our version of camping has evolved throughout our time together. It started with a small tent and our pillows and slowly evolved through the years as our portal to traveling and experiencing the outdoors. In the last few years we have seemingly outgrown our tent system, for the most part. Don’t get us wrong! We still love tent camping as the traditional version of camping. 

Riley has made things more complicated as she gets older. Not to mention she gets a huge kick out of leaning on tent walls to let the rain water or morning dew in so she can drink it. All jokes and complaints aside, she is getting older and a bit more creaky. In early 2019, we had her knee repaired where the Vet found she was beginning to get arthritis. This began to affect our decision to search more seriously for a camper. 

We had been searching online for months, looking at used campers and thinking that we would renovate a very elderly camper. That changed when we saw a small Forest River Grey Wolf Pup online at a dealership. We drove all the way out to take a look at it, being somewhat in our price range. This one turned out to be wildly too small for us and all of our stuff. In the same area we spotted the full length Grey Wolf Toy Hauler 26RR.  We toured the inside and just sat for a little while. The rest is history, we took her home the next week.
